Still a few days remaining to support #JR4NHS

There’s an update

at Urgent Legal Action for Our NHS – Round 2

which if you’re concerned about the future of our NHS you need to read.

I last wrote about this campaign on December 18th and since then the crowdfunding has grown considerably.

The more I read about #JR4NHS the more serious and shocking the plans seem.

It just can’t be right to make such fundamental changes to our NHS without parliamentary scrutiny at the very least. You’d think inclusion in the Conservative Party manifesto at the recent General Election would have been automatic with such a huge change to our NHS in the pipeline.  If we wanted our NHS privatised we should have voted on it. Except, of course, we didn’t want our NHS privatised and any hint of such plans at the General Election would have made the social care fiasco look competent.

If you’re not already signed up to the Urgent Legal Action for Our NHS – Round 2 email list, I hope you’ll visit the site and read what the Health Secretary is planning and how the  campaigners are going to stop him. Then sign up for email updates and support the campaign.

  1. tbh, I don’t watch the news & steer clear of politics. So until now, I had no idea of this scandalous proposal. No-one can put a price on care & compassion, two qualities abundant in our wonderful NHS. Please, keep up the great work 🙂

    1. Thankyou, Julia. This is the most shocking plan I’ve read for our NHS. I hope the campaigners are successful and we shall all have to be grateful to them when they are.
