Scampston 2009

While we’re in lockdown and visits anywhere are restricted, I’ve been revisiting some favourite places by looking at old photos. You might like to join me on today’s walk!

We visited Scampston Walled Garden in 2009. The award winning gardens designed by Piet Oudolf had only been open to the public for about four years at the time. I took a large number of photos but these macros have given us particular pleasure.

Looking at the website, the gardens have changed considerably so hopefully we’ll be able to visit this year and take a look.

Thanks for reading my blog today. Hope your day is going well. If you’re stocking up your Kindle for the holiday season visit our website for details of some books you might have missed.
