Today is the final day of Crufts 2018.

Two of my canine next-door-neighbours enjoyed their day in the “Working Dogs” section on Day 1 of Crufts Dog Show.

And number three of the dogs next door is at Crufts today for the “Gun Dogs” section.

These clips are from Crufts in the 1930s.

Greatest of All Dog Shows Crufts 1934

dog

Continuing my new found interest in Crufts, here’s a great clip from Crufts Dog Show in 1934.

And this isn’t Crufts but a dog show in Richmond in 1930.

The dogs are lovely but the cloche hats are a-maz-ing.

The best collection I’ve ever seen.

Woof Woof!

Crufts

The 2018 Crufts Dog Show starts tomorrow.

Usually it’s an event that passes me by but this year we know three of the dogs that are competing.

Naturally, this new interest in Crufts sent me looking for some old film clips and this one from 1927 is a gem.

Crufts has gone from strength to strength since the first show in 1891. 2500 entries then has increased to over 20,000 today making Crufts the biggest dog show in the world.

Good Luck to my canine next-door-neighbours!
